MAA member nominees should now vote for the preferred MAA directors

The Annual General Meeting of the Midlands Aerospace Alliance will be held as part of the MAA members meeting on Thursday 21 October 2010 at Delcam in Birmingham, starting, as usual, with networking at 1600 hours.  The annual report of the MAA for 2009-10 will be presented at this meeting.

At the AGM, the full membership of the MAA, which currently stands at 285 companies, will have the opportunity to elect three representatives to join the MAA Board.

Nominations are now closed for board candidates, with six industry leaders having come forward:

  1. David Danger, Managing Director, HS Marston Aerospace Ltd
  2. Tim Hughes, Managing Director, CHH Conex Limited
  3. Mark H Johnstone, Associate Director - Business Development, Morson Projects Limited
  4. Michael J. Pont, Professor of Embedded Systems Engineering, Head of Embedded Systems Laboratory, University of Leicester, Chief Executive of TTE Systems Ltd 
  5. Mike Smith, Chief Executive Officer, Bromford Industries
  6. Clive Snowdon, Chief Executive, Umeco plc
